Any donations already collected in 2020 will be rolled over to next year in support of skin cancer research and awareness. The current fundraising incentives and prizes will now be available in 2021.

Q: Can I still get my T-shirt for this year?

We will not be ordering shirts for the 2020 MSU Gran Fondo since the event is being postponed to 2021.

Q: What happens with my booked travel and accommodations to attend this event?

Please contact the travel agency and hotel directly; you may be able to adjust your date of travel or receive a full or partial refund.

Q: Why wasn’t the Gran Fondo postponed until fall or converted to a virtual ride?

The next few months are still uncertain. As a medical school, we will maintain our public health focus, continue social distancing and postpone events with large crowds.

Q: What if I am unable to attend next year’s MSU Gran Fondo on June 26, 2021?

You can receive a refund by filling out this form before June 1, 2020. If you’d like to transfer your registration to someone else, contact us at msugranfondo@hc.msu.edu.

Q: What happens to my 2020 donations if I don’t participate in 2021?

Since your fundraising will roll into 2021 automatically, you could still participate as a virtual rider (free of charge) in order to be qualified for the 2021 fundraising incentives and prizes.

Q: Can I get a refund on my personal donations?

In accordance with Michigan State University’s policy, we are unable to refund donations.
